"A place they could call their own"

Explore Aberdeen is a building where the comfort of the user is the priority. Within this building there is many spaces where people can socialise and join in with others, or grab some personal quiet time. The use of half levels allow people to see what is going on in other parts of the building and will feel more comfortable to explore. The main amphitheatre stairs are flooded by light from the atrium and draw people to the back of the builing. The counselling rooms appear on the outside as large protruding boxes that create an exciting appearance along the facade of King Street. This is a comfortable building with a socialble atmosphere with a good varitety of privacy available.
